PERU JOURNEY 2012

HARMONIC EMERGENCE

 

Dates: June 3-15, 2012 (13 Days, 12 Nights)

Join me on this incredible, once in a lifetime journey/adventure and become part of something greater than ourselves.

Leave from JFK LAN airlines. Fly overnight on June 2nd and arrive early morning on June 3rd.

Those flying from other locations will meet the group in Lima on June 3rd early morning.

Day 1

Take domestic flight to Cuzco and transfer to a lower altitude in the Sacred Valley, town of Pisac. We will stay in a beautiful hacienda and explore the infamous Sunday market of Pisac. Visitors and villagers from remote highland villages gather in the central plaza exhanging and selling local food, herbs, oils, antiques and crafts.

Day 2

Explore the Pisac ruins by bus. They are extraordinary in their own way. We start with a traditional coca hallpay and travel the valley to Ollantaytambo where we spend the night at the MunayTika Hotel.

Day 3

Take the train to Mach Picchu and stay in the hotel at Aguas Calientes. We walk to and explore the Mandor waterfalls and sacred baths.

Day 4

Visit Machu Picchu. We take the earlier buses for sunrise . . . the sacred and astronomical observatory. We take a full day to explore. Optional hikes into the power places of Temple of the Moon and Waynapicchu (will need to know in advance).

Day 5

Take the train to Cuzco, the magical city of dizzying excitement with its architectural legacies. It is the most spectacular destination in the Andes. Experience the palpable heartbeat of the earth.

Day 6

A free day to explore and/or take a trip to Killarumiyoq, a nearby Temple of the Moon, a Lemurian landmark and Pacca community to visit the school and spend time with the children. Evening fire ceremony.

Day 7

Spend more time in Cuzco to shop and rest in the center of the Andes carressed by her mountains.

Day 8

Fly to Lima and then to Piura, a merry city on the Pacific Ocean. Stay overnight.

Day 9

Depart by bus, and after three hours have lunch in Canchaque. Soon after begins the ascent through vistas that are truly incredible. We reach the Cruz Blanca pass at 2500 meters and descend to the city of Huancabamba, capital of folk healing and traditional medicine. We stay overnight at Monterrey Hotel and explore the town.

Day 10

The charm of the Huaringas are not to be underestimated. They are powerful lagoons with medicinal, therapeutic properties. They are visited by many healers and those who want cleansing. The Laguna Negra is said to be the most powerful and that is our destination. It is a major healing source on our planet. Transport will be a van and horse. Cleansing ceremony at the lagoon. We return to Huancabamba.

Day 11

Free day to explore and bathe at the waterfall fed by the waters of Las Huaringas. We eat a typical meal in town and stay overnight.

Day 12

Return to Piura. We celebrate!

Day 13

We spend the morning in the market of Catacaos near the ocean. The specialties there are straw, cotton, gold and silver. Enjoy local cuisine. Depart in the afternoon to Lima and the evening flight back to the USA.
